MountainSphere Adventures is a guiding service with a difference. Focused on sharing wilderness skills built over a lifetime of experience, MountainSphere is your path to independence and self reliance in a wilderness environment.

People
MountainSphere Adventures is a sole trader business owned and operated by Ashley Burke.
Ashley has had a lifetime of experience in leading adventurous expeditions in the Blue Mountains and around the world. A natural easy-going leader and teacher with a style motivated by the ethos of mutual respect and inclusiveness among all participants.
A genuine passion for the outdoors, and a desire to share knowledge that will inspire others.
A belief that through respectful leadership and inclusive teaching, clients can gain personal confidence and can learn the skills needed to feel safe when immersed in wild places, and through this philosophy can come to regard wilderness as a home and not a place to fear or avoid.
Passionate promoter of the values of conservation and respect for the environment.
My Core Values
My passion is the belief that through the skill of navigation comes self reliance, confidence and empowerment. With it, the wilderness becomes your home, and you are empowered to lead others. Without it, the wilderness is inaccessible except by following others.
